RIDGE AT HIWAN HOUSE

Inspired by the Anasazi sculptural stone and plaster villages, the Rader residence is carved into a mountaintop above Evergreen, Colorado. The steel-framed structure is built on a plan of interlocking hexagons. The central space of this home is a true great room, with the living room, informal dining room, kitchen and a study alcove all gathered in one sunlit space. A forty-foot indoor swimming pool provides a unique opportunity to swim while enjoying views of snow-covered mountaintops.
