HOUSE AT LARKSPUR

Set in a gently rolling terrain covered in scrub oak, this expansive home offers sweeping view to the south and southwest. The plan design mimics the traditional Indian thunderbird form, with primary living spaces gradually slipping back from the central great room. The goal of achieving a warm, contemporary home was achieved through generous use of Colorado buff sandstone inside and out, heated slate floors, and stained maple ceilings.
